Therapeutic Gaming

Who you are can shape the character you play, and in turn, the character you embody can help you discover more about yourself. By making choices for your character within the safe, imaginative world of a game, you have the opportunity to explore different aspects of your personality and even try out traits of the person you hope to become. This process provides a chance for growth and healing, offering corrective experiences and new perspectives through gameplay.

My therapeutic gaming groups are tailored to meet the specific goals of each participant. Before we begin, we’ll identify the therapeutic objectives for the group and design a role-playing game that aligns with those needs. During each session, you’ll spend time playing the game and reflecting on the key insights gained, creating a meaningful connection between the gaming world and real life.

Currently, I offer two therapeutic gaming groups: one focused on self-discovery and understanding others, and another aimed at helping alleviate social anxiety. Each group runs for 8 sessions and requires pre-screening to ensure the best fit for all members.

Pricing for these groups varies depending on the specific program. If you’re interested in learning more or joining a group, I invite you to reach out today.

Therapeutic Tabletop Role-Playing Gaming Group

This group is designed for individuals who want to gain a deeper understanding of themselves and others through the immersive experience of a tabletop role-playing game. By guiding your character’s choices, you’ll explore different parts of yourself in a supportive, imaginative environment.

The price varies based on the specific therapeutic gaming group. If you’re interested in connecting to learn more, feel free to reach out today.
